About the role
Mahindra Group's platform program management function supports automotive product development delivery, aligning delivery heads, Finance, and cross-functional teams around business case readiness and milestone adherence. The role covers platform timelines, cost and performance health, risk escalation, stage-gate clearance, and leadership reporting through dashboards/MIS. It coordinates platform reviews and trade-offs to keep execution within platform TCP targets.
What you will do
- Define and monitor milestones by aligning all delivery heads.
- Resource mapping with ramp-up / ramp-down based on work content.
- Coordinate and finalize inputs with Finance to ensure Business Case readiness in terms of: Model-mix variants Project and target costs Non-financial assumptions Risks
- Monitor and control the Business Case during product development.
- Monitor overall project timelines (including component/system level) and escalate in case of potential foreseen risks.
- Ensuring milestone adherence.
- Completion of deliverables for straight-pass Gateway Clearance.
- Risk identification and escalation to CPH; propose mitigation plans in consultation with necessary stakeholders.
- Managing project communication plans (daily, weekly, monthly, etc.).
- Monitor and control project scope (TCP, quality parameters).
- Monitor platform health from: Time perspective Cost perspective Performance perspective
- Provide status and risk visibility to the leadership team using dashboards/MIS.
- Enable platform teams with scenario planning on Change Requests arising through scope, engineering, and concern resolution.
- Preempt and mitigate potential risks to ensure closure of stage gates with desired quality ( less/no deviations ).
- Coordinate platform-level reviews with: CPH PEH PPH PMH PD Head PC
- For M4/M2, coordinate with functions and drive feasibility (time and business case) of new PRFs ( as per Project Admittance Process ).
- Ensure trade-offs are in line with platform TCP targets.
- Manage PMS data for all stakeholders.
