About the role
IBM Consulting works with clients across industries on hybrid cloud and AI journeys, supported by IBM technology, strategic partners, and Red Hat. This role focuses on SAP HANA application security, including designing, implementing, and maintaining security solutions and integrating them with SAP systems and third-party applications. The specialist will work with stakeholders and security teams on RBAC, segregation of duties, audits, and documentation.
What you will do
- Implement SAP Security Solutions: Configure and customize SAP security settings to meet client requirements, and implement role-based access control (RBAC) and segregation of duties (SoD) in SAP systems.
- Conduct Security Audits: Conduct security audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with Clients: Collaborate with clients to understand their security requirements and translate them into functional solutions, providing training and support on SAP security best practices and tools.
- Maintain Technical Documentation: Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base, staying up-to-date with new features and releases of SAP security modules.
- Stay Current with SAP HANA Security: Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP HANA security features, trends, and best practices.
- Technical Documentation Skills: Experience developing and maintaining technical documentation and knowledge bases related to SAP security solutions.
