About the role
IBM Consulting works with leading companies across industries to shape their hybrid cloud and AI journeys, supported by IBM technology, strategic partners, and Red Hat. This role sits in SAP S/4HANA Finance and Project System delivery, guiding business stakeholders through design and implementation of capital accounting capabilities. The consultant will run Fit-to-Standard workshops, configure process flows, ensure integration with MM, CO, and Investment Management, and drive testing, data migration, and user enablement with governance and controls for audit readiness.
What you will do
- Conducting Workshops: Leading Fit-to-Standard workshops to translate business requirements into functional solutions.
- Defining Process Flows: Configuring system functionality and defining process flows to support capital accounting processes.
- Configuring System Functionality: Ensuring integration with related modules such as MM, CO, and Investment Management.
- Driving Testing: Driving testing, data migration, and user enablement while embedding governance and controls for audit readiness.

- Project System Knowledge: Experience working with Project System (PS) capabilities to support capital accounting processes.
- Capital Accounting: Understanding of capital accounting processes, including asset capitalization, depreciation, and compliance with IFRS/GAAP standards.
- System Integration: Exposure to integrating SAP modules such as MM, CO, and Investment Management.
