About the role
IBM Consulting works with leading companies across industries, helping them shape their hybrid cloud and AI journeys using IBM technology, strategic partners, and Red Hat. This role sits within SAP package consulting, focused on SAP S/4HANA Finance and Project System capabilities. As a Package Consultant, you will guide business stakeholders through the design and implementation of functional solutions supporting capital accounting, including workshops, process flow definition, configuration, testing, and governance and controls.
What you will do
- Conducting Workshops: Leading Fit-to-Standard workshops to translate business requirements into functional solutions.
- Defining Process Flows: Configuring system functionality and defining process flows to support capital accounting processes.
- Configuring System Functionality: Ensuring integration with related modules such as MM, CO, and Investment Management.
- Driving Testing: Driving testing, data migration, and user enablement while embedding governance and controls for audit readiness.

- SAP S/4HANA Finance: Exposure to SAP S/4HANA Finance capabilities, including configuration and implementation of financial processes.
- Project System Knowledge: Experience working with Project System (PS) capabilities to support capital accounting processes.
- Capital Accounting: Understanding of capital accounting processes, including asset capitalization, depreciation, and compliance with IFRS/GAAP standards.
- System Integration: Exposure to integrating SAP modules such as MM, CO, and Investment Management.
- Automation and Reporting: Experience with automating processes and delivering real-time reporting to improve financial transparency and optimize capex management.
- Additional SAP Modules: Exposure to other SAP modules such as HR or Logistics
- Advanced Reporting Tools: Experience with advanced reporting tools to improve financial transparency
- Data Migration Tools: Familiarity with data migration tools to support data transfer and integration
