About the role
IBM Consulting works with leading companies across industries to shape hybrid cloud and AI journeys using IBM technology and Red Hat. The SAP EIM role implements Business Objects Data Services ETL jobs and supports complex data flows within Business Objects Enterprise landscapes. This Package Consultant will design ETL jobs, configure BW/SAP and non-SAP extractors, and apply SAP BODS, SDI, Data Hub, and DMC skills for S/4HANA data migration.
What you will do
- Implement ETL Jobs: Design and implement Business Objects Data Services ETL jobs to meet business requirements, ensuring seamless data flow within the Business Objects Enterprise landscape.
- Support Complex Data Flows: Utilize your understanding of Business Objects Data Services to support complex ETL data flows, troubleshooting issues and optimizing data processing.
- Configure Extractors: Provide configuration support for BW extractors, SAP and non-SAP extractors with Data Services, HANA replication with Data Services, and loading with SAP DMC.
- Apply Technical Skills: Apply hands-on skills in SAP BODS, SAP BOIS, SAP SDI, SAP DATA HUB, SAP DMC, and SAP Data Migration for S/4 HANA and other SAP products to deliver high-quality solutions.

- Complex Data Flow Management: Experience working with complex ETL data flows, including troubleshooting issues and optimizing data processing, utilizing knowledge of Business Objects Data Services.
- Business Objects Enterprise Landscape: Exposure to managing and supporting Business Objects Data Services within a Business Objects Enterprise landscape, ensuring seamless data flow and optimal system performance.
