About the role
Siemens Smart Infrastructure connects energy systems, buildings, and industries, offering grid control and automation, low- and medium-voltage power distribution, switching and control, and building automation and energy solutions. The Order Manager role covers overall order management for medium-voltage AIS panel orders for the domestic system business. The role coordinates with sales, engineering, factory, and customers across contract review, drawing submissions and approvals, claim negotiation, cost and milestone monitoring, FAT and dispatch, post-dispatch service, and escalation management.
What you will do
- Techno-commercial contract review
- Coordination with Engineering for submission of Drawings and other engineering documents to customer
- Getting drawing approval from customer
- Claim submission and negotiation with customer
- Cost and overall milestone monitoring throughout the order execution
- Close coordination with Factory and logistic for scheduling of orders
- Coordination with customer for FAT and dispatch related activities
- Coordination for Post dispatch service activities
- Escalation management which include handling communication with higher management at customer end
Skills used in this role
What the employer is looking for
- Good knowledge about medium voltage power distribution system and protection system for AIS panels
- Knowledge of IS/IEC standards applicable for MV systems.
- Should have CRM development skill and negotiation skill. Able to connect at higher management level at customer level.
- Good Communication skill both written as well as verbal. Should be able to communicate in contractual language with customers
- Capable to interact independently with client for technical discussions.
- Prior experience in customer handling functions will be added advantage.
- Able to handle complex situation and pressure including escalations from customer, delays from factory due to external factors( like war, covid), post delivery issues etc.
- Education: B.E. Electrical Engineering with minimum 5-7 Years of Experience. Diploma in electrical with 8-10 years experience.
