About the role
Everpure (NYSE: P) has evolved from storage pioneer to data platform, spanning hyperscalers, AI labs, the AI hardware supply chain, and data platform providers. The FlashArray team builds an innovative, high-performance, highly available portfolio of storage products for mission-critical applications, extending into the public cloud with CloudSnap and Cloud Block Store for AWS. This role designs and ships systems software features with end-to-end ownership, targeting six-nines reliability and collaborating closely with peers to improve customer experience.
What you will do
- Design & Implement: Create innovative algorithms and technologies for high-performance systems targeting six-nines (99.9999%) reliability.
- End-to-End Ownership: Lead feature innovation from initial concept through to shipped product.
- Problem Solving: Analyze and resolve complex technical challenges through persistent problem-solving and technical insight.
- Collaborate & Deliver: Partner closely with smart, collaborative peers to deliver features that directly enhance customer experience and satisfaction.
- Learn & Grow: Continuously expand domain expertise in systems software within a supportive, knowledge-sharing environment.
Skills used in this role
What the employer is looking for
- Software Development Experience: 3+ years of professional development experience using C, C++, Python, Go, Java, or related programming languages. (Candidates with less than 1 year of experience are encouraged to explore University opportunities on our careers page).
- Systems Domain Knowledge: Hands-on experience or coursework in systems software domains such as Distributed Systems, Operating Systems, Linux Kernel, Database Internals, Hypervisors, Containers, or Compiler Optimization.
- Collaborative Mindset: Strong design sensibility with a proven track record of working effectively in a team-oriented, open-office environment.
- Educational Background: Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or a related technical field; advanced degrees (MS/PhD) are a plus.
