About the role

EaseMyTrip.com is seeking a Media Relations & Corporate Communications Manager to strengthen corporate reputation, brand visibility and media relationships. The role works closely with the CEO, senior leadership, marketing and business teams to communicate growth, business achievements, strategic initiatives and industry perspectives across national and international media. Responsibilities include earned media, executive communications, crisis communication, press releases, media events and PR agency management.

What you will do

  • Media Relationship Development: Build and maintain strong, direct relationships with journalists, editors, business correspondents, television anchors and digital media professionals across national, regional and international publications.
  • Corporate Reputation & Brand Positioning: Develop and execute strategic PR initiatives to strengthen EaseMyTrip's corporate image, credibility, brand visibility and industry positioning.
  • Earned Media Coverage & Story Placement: Proactively identify newsworthy opportunities, pitch compelling corporate stories and secure relevant editorial coverage, leadership interviews and industry features across print, digital and broadcast media.
  • Leadership & Executive Communications: Work closely with the CEO and senior leadership to develop media strategies, executive interviews, opinion articles, speeches, public statements and thought-leadership opportunities.
  • Crisis Communication & Reputation Management: Monitor sensitive media developments, identify potential reputational risks and coordinate timely, factual and legally reviewed responses to negative coverage, controversies and public concerns.
  • Press Releases & Corporate Content: Draft and distribute high-quality press releases, media statements, corporate announcements, leadership quotes and communication materials aligned with the company's positioning.
  • Media Engagement & Press Events: Organize press conferences, media briefings, journalist interactions, interviews, industry roundtables and corporate announcements to strengthen media engagement.
  • Business & Financial Media Relations: Develop relationships with leading business and financial publications to communicate corporate developments, financial performance, strategic partnerships, acquisitions and expansion initiatives in coordination with authorized internal teams.
  • Media Monitoring & Performance Reporting: Track media coverage, brand sentiment, share of voice, journalist engagement and PR campaign performance while preparing actionable reports for senior management.
  • PR Strategy, Agency Management & Collaboration: Coordinate with external PR agencies, internal marketing teams, legal advisers and business heads to ensure consistent communication, efficient execution and measurable PR outcomes.

  • Professional Experience: Minimum 5–8 years of experience in public relations, media relations, corporate communications, reputation management or strategic communications.
  • Strong Journalist & Media Network: Established direct relationships with journalists, editors, business reporters and media decision-makers across leading national publications, television channels and digital news platforms.
  • Corporate & Business Media Exposure: Experience managing PR for publicly listed companies, large corporates, consumer internet businesses, travel companies, financial services or other high-visibility organizations would be advantageous.
  • Proven Earned Media Success: Demonstrated ability to independently secure meaningful editorial coverage, executive interviews, business features and thought-leadership opportunities without relying exclusively on paid media.
  • Crisis & Reputation Management: Practical experience handling negative media coverage, sensitive corporate developments, reputational challenges and time-critical communications.
  • Exceptional Writing & Storytelling: Strong command of written and spoken English, with the ability to create compelling press releases, corporate narratives, media pitches, executive statements and opinion articles.
  • Leadership Communication Experience: Experience working directly with CEOs, founders, senior executives or corporate leadership teams on media interactions, public positioning and communication strategies.
  • Media Intelligence & Monitoring: Familiarity with media monitoring tools, journalist databases, digital news platforms and reporting methods for measuring PR effectiveness.
  • Relationship Building & Negotiation: Strong interpersonal skills, professional credibility and the ability to develop trusted, long-term relationships with journalists, media organizations and external stakeholders.
  • Strategic Thinking & Execution: Proactive, resourceful and commercially aware, with the ability to independently identify PR opportunities, manage multiple priorities and deliver measurable communication outcomes.
