About the role
Reliance Jio is hiring experienced Mechanical and HVAC professionals across multiple levels for its facilities projects, with the domain spanning Mechanical, HVAC and MEP. The role provides end-to-end engineering support for Jio facilities projects, covering reliable infrastructure, appropriate equipment selection, safe and compliant execution, and timely resolution of engineering issues. Based in Navi Mumbai, the position involves design review, validation of equipment sizing and specifications, and coordination with engineering, construction, consultants, vendors and contractors.
What you will do
- Act as the technical SPOC for electrical engineering clarifications and site issues.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Construction, consultants, vendors and contractors.
- Review electrical designs, SLDs, load calculations, BOQs and technical specifications.
- Review power distribution systems including HT/LT systems, transformers, DGs, UPS, PCC/MCC, APFC, earthing and lightning protection, as applicable.
- Validate electrical equipment sizing and selection against project requirements.
- Coordinate design-to-field implementation and resolve site constraints.
- Review electrical installation methodology and ensure adherence to approved designs.
- Ensure compliance with applicable IS standards, NBC, electrical safety and statutory requirements.
- Drive timely closure of technical queries, deviations and engineering changes.
- Minimize electrical-related rework, defects and execution delays.
- Reviewed and validated electrical designs, SLDs, load calculations, BOQs and equipment specifications.
- Engineering validation of HT/LT distribution, transformers, DG, UPS, PCC/MCC, APFC, earthing and lightning protection systems.
- Technical recommendations for equipment sizing, selection and system configuration.
- Closure of electrical TQs, RFIs, design clarifications and site technical issues.
- Engineering inputs for electrical installation and commissioning methodology.
- Compliance review against IS, NBC, electrical safety and statutory requirements.
