About the role

The Markets Operations team in India supports treasury liquidity management across Indian Rupee and foreign currency, including nostro monitoring and reconciliations and regulatory submissions. The role sits within JPMorganChase’s funding desk and involves cash flow projections, break resolution, controls, and change delivery. As an Analyst, you will prepare regulatory and internal reporting, support audits, and partner with treasury, technology, and operations teams on system enhancements.

What you will do

  • Prepare and maintain daily cash flow projections for Indian Rupee and foreign currency to support treasury liquidity planning.
  • Assess upcoming payment obligations against settlement cycles and cut-offs, identifying funding gaps early.
  • Maintain cash reserve ratio requirements and related governance, documentation, and evidence.
  • Monitor nostro balances and end-of-day limits, escalating breaches or near-breaches promptly and tracking actions to closure.
  • Perform nostro reconciliations and investigate breaks end-to-end, resolving discrepancies within agreed timelines.
  • Maintain an exception management framework for breaks, including ownership tracking and root-cause resolution.
  • Prepare accurate internal management information and regulatory submissions, including RBS data points and reports such as SFR, FTD, and GPB.
  • Support audits by providing data and documents on time, responding to queries, and resolving observations to closure.
  • Maintain strong risk and control discipline across daily processes, ensuring audit-ready evidence.
  • Drive continuous improvement by performing root-cause analysis and implementing preventive actions to reduce repeat issues.
  • Support system enhancements and change delivery, including requirements, testing, and post-implementation checks.
  • Coordinate with technology teams to resolve system issues with clear diagnostics and tracking.
  • Partner with treasury and operations teams to deliver accurate outcomes in a high-control, time-sensitive environment.
