About the role

The role sits within American Express supporting finance processes and solutions built on Oracle Enterprise Data Management Cloud Service (EDMCS) and Oracle Cloud EPM. The team focuses on analyzing business processes and requirements and translating them into functional specifications that support migration and configuration of financial data systems. This Product Analyst role works with product leads, finance process teams, and technical teams on requirements, EPM financial design and configuration, EDMCS module support, and Agile scrum delivery.

What you will do

  • Gather and document detailed business requirements and functional specifications.
  • Collaborate with product lead, finance process teams and technical teams to configure & design solutions that meet business needs
  • Apply industry best practices in EPM financial design and configuration for scalable and auditable solutions
  • Configure and support EDMCS module
  • Participate in developing user stories, sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups to ensure effective scrum execution.
  • Support change management, training, and testing activities across user groups

What the employer is looking for

  • Masters degree in business, Information System, or related field.
  • 6+ years of experience as a Business/Finance or Product Analyst, in Oracle EDMCS context
  • Familiarity with Oracle Cloud EDMCS applications and understanding of business processes.
  • Understanding of Reference Data Management applications
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Exposure to Agile development methodology
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
