About the role
This Bosch role focuses on Linux kernel and application software development for embedded solutions. What you will do
- Will be responsible for kernel development and Application software development for Linux embedded solutions.
- Linux internals
- Strong foundation in C programming and shell scripting
- Proficiency in to build environment and cross compile toolchains
- Experience in developing device drivers Configuration of kernel Configuring and customizing device tree Integration of driver into overall system
- File operations and system call Configuration and interrupt management Memory management in drivers Basics of power management Synchronization mechanism (mutex, semaphores, spinlocks)o Performance analysis for time critical modules like touch.
- Know how about Linux kernel development process Proficiency in Git- rebasing, commits Creating patches and rule checks Mainlining of kernel modules
- Experience working with basic communication protocols and integration in drivers UART I2Co SPI
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
- Overview of different processor platforms
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
- Experience in the following skills is an added advantage Touch/Display drivers Network and Wifi drivers U-Boot, secure boot and signing Multimedia and Graphics
