About the role
Google's Core team builds the technical foundation behind its flagship products, including developer platforms, product components, and infrastructure. The Enterprise Network team focuses on the security, reliability, scalability, and automation of one of the world's largest enterprise networks. This Lead Technical Program Manager role drives enterprise network product development and delivery, coordinating with network engineers, software engineers, and operations teams to manage schedules, risks, and vendor escalations.
What you will do
- Manage and drive the development and delivery of enterprise network engineering products while leveraging automation and software programs by coordinating with global delivery teams across the company to facilitate efficient network services to customers.
- Partner with Network Engineers, Software Engineers, and Project Managers to deliver large technical networking projects.
- Develop reports to track scope, schedule, budget, risks, and overall project status; coordinate with stakeholders to manage, track, and control project issues to ensure timely delivery.
- Work with management to design and launch new processes, institute process improvements, and ensure the efficient/reliable achievement of process objectives.
- Manage third-party vendors responsible for the monitoring and troubleshooting of network services, including facilitating any escalations requiring engineering assistance.

- 8 years of experience in program management.
- 5 years of experience in leadership role with/without direct reports.
- Experience in technical program management.
- Experience in a people management or team leadership role.
- Experience in technical program management for network infrastructure delivery.
Preferred qualifications
- 8 years of experience managing cross-functional/team projects.
- Experience with network certifications such as PMP, Agile project management, BICSI RCDD, BICSI RTPM, CCDE, CCNP, or CCIE.
- Experience designing and facilitating the implementation of networking data centers or colocation facilities.
- Experience managing technical vendors and leading quarterly business reviews.
- Experience working in integrated teams composed of both technical and non-technical members.
