About the role

AMD's Design for Test (DFT) team works to deliver the highest quality, industry-leading semiconductor technologies to market, encouraging continuous technical innovation in digital design and DFT. The team develops pre-silicon and post-silicon test solutions, including ATPG, scan-stitching and test vector generation for next-generation processors. This Lead DFT Engineer role will prepare and deliver test vectors, verify non-scan DFT patterns in a silicon-equivalent environment to achieve First-Time-Right, and collaborate with post-silicon engineering teams across sites and timezones.

What the employer is looking for

  • Bachelors degree with 7+ years or Masters degree with 5+ years in Electronics engineering/Electrical Engineering

Preferred qualifications

  • Should have worked with post silicon engineering team and understand their requirement
  • Prepare and deliver Test vectors based on design /Arch and mutually agreed
  • Verify non-scan DFT patterns in silicon equivalent (similar to VTPx or DVT ) environment in pre-silicon stage and make sure that all patterns meets First-Time-Right (FTR)
  • Experience in scan-stitching; and has good knowledge of scan-stitching related concepts
  • Excellent hands-on ATPG; and is well conversed with the files required to run ATPG
  • Knowledge/experience with Tessent ATPG (mentor) is a plus
  • Experience with post-silicon bring up is a plus
