About the role
AMD builds next-generation processors and AI-enabling technologies, and this team delivers high-quality software for new technology and product introduction projects. The role focuses on the AI Engine of Versal devices and NPUs in client devices, spanning DSP/ML-intensive workloads. The engineer will verify and validate new software features before customer release, build automated infrastructure, and collaborate with multiple teams and project managers on software releases.
What you will do
- Develop and drive execution of comprehensive, highly effective software for sophisticated new technology and new product introduction projects
- Responsible for verification and Validation of new SW features around AIE Engine of Versal devices / NPU in client devices, before releasing them to customers
- Ability to understand complex systems consisting of DSP/ML intensive algorithms
- Actively explores innovative methods for verification and validation of these platform designs using automated infrastructure and reduced/smaller designs
- Uses the product as a customer would to understand strengths and areas for improvement. Performs advanced interactive testing and can assist with defining quality metrics
- Collaborate closely with multiple teams and Project Managers to drive high quality software releases
