About the role
Tata Elxsi is hiring a Full Stack Developer to join its application development team, building scalable and maintainable web applications. The work centers on Java (JDK 8+), Spring Boot, Microservices, and Angular, with a preference for exposure to the healthcare domain. This role involves collaborating in Agile teams, integrating APIs, and managing the entire application lifecycle, from design and development through unit testing, code reviews, and troubleshooting.
What you will do
- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using Java (JDK 8+), Spring Boot, and Angular.
- Develop and integrate Microservices and RESTful APIs.
- Use Git/GitHub for version control and actively participate in Agile ceremonies.
- Conduct unit testing, code reviews, and bug fixes.
- Troubleshoot issues across the development stack.
Skills used in this role
What the employer is looking for
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 4–7 years of hands-on experience in Full Stack Development.
- Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and latest versions of Angular (Mandatory).
- Experience in developing RESTful APIs and working with relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Strong experience with Git/GitHub and Agile practices (Scrum/Kanban).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred qualifications
- Exposure to the healthcare domain is a plus.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools.
