About the role

Stolt-Nielsen is a global leader in bulk-liquid and chemical logistics, transportation, and storage, and its Digital Innovation Centre builds smarter systems and drives digital transformation for logistics operations. The Integration Engineer role focuses on connecting business applications, trading partners, and operational systems using Azure Integration Services, B2B/EDI standards, and event-driven messaging. The engineer will design and maintain integrations, manage partner onboarding, build APIs, and support reliable document exchange across ERP, vessel planning, port agent, customer, and external partner systems.

What you will do

  • Design, develop and maintain integrations using Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps, Service Bus, API Management, Functions, Event Hub, Integration Accounts).
  • Build and support B2B integrations with external partners using EDI standards (EDIFACT, X12) and protocols (AS2, SFTP).
  • Implement event-driven, inter-application integrations following publish/subscribe and message-based patterns.
  • Develop and manage APIs (REST, SOAP) for internal and external consumption via Azure API Management.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate integration requirements into technical solutions.
  • Onboard new trading partners: configure schemas, maps, agreements and trading partner profiles in Integration Accounts.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot and resolve integration issues across the platform; ensure SLAs are met.
  • Write and maintain clear documentation for integration flows, partner configurations and runbooks.
  • Collaborate with DevOps engineers to implement CI/CD pipelines for integration deployments.
  • Perform additional duties and strategic projects as assigned.
