About the role

As an Infrastructure Specialist for Cloud Platforms, the role manages and implements infrastructure solutions across various cloud environments according to established designs, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security. The specialist collaborates with IT teams to implement and integrate cloud infrastructure solutions, covering provisioning, monitoring, security, cost optimization, and multi-cloud operations.
What you will do
- Set Up and Configure Cloud Infrastructure: Set up, configure, and manage virtual machines, storage solutions, networking, and databases across different cloud platforms to effectively support business applications.
- Implement and Oversee Cloud Resources: Implement and oversee essential cloud resources such as Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs), Load Balancers, and Cloud Storage solutions to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor and Troubleshoot Infrastructure: Continuously monitor infrastructure, troubleshoot issues, and maintain high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) configurations to ensure reliable performance.
- Apply Security Measures: Apply and enforce security measures to ensure cloud infrastructure complies with organizational policies and industry regulations.
- Optimize Cloud Costs: Optimize cloud costs by right-sizing resources, developing cost-effective solutions, and monitoring usage patterns.
