About the role
This role sits within Bosch's purchasing project management function for Common Rail Pumps and CRR products, acting as the purchasing interface to the plant (BidP) and to the business unit's PS and PUR organizations. It covers series support, budget and MAT target delivery, customer projects and change management, supplier capacity management, and supplier technical discussions. The role also drives RPP and IPN projects, supplier tooling budget coordination, digital tool initiatives, and SICR processing across global plant locations.
What you will do
- Responsible for Project management- purchasing for Common Rail Pumps and CRR products with role involving below listed activities:
- Window person to plant (BidP) for series support, budget and MAT targets
- Customer projects and Change management
- Responsible to Deliver MAT target for PDCL447, PDCL448 and PDCL449
- Supplier capacity management to support order blast and AVR from customers
- Work closely with plant for Plant targets - Quality, Costs, Delivery
- Interface to BU (DC) in the area PS and PUR organization
- Represent purchasing in SE teams and coordination of SE work with suppliers
- Internal co-ordination with PUR, PUQ, PQT and PQA colleagues
- Organize Technical Supplier Discussion with suppliers
- RPP projects: Organize Idea Generation workshops, planning and Execution of RPP projects
- Active participation in Agile MAT teams / MATriX teams
- Coordination with plant CTG for supplier tooling budget and follow On tool ordering
- Support and drive IPN projects for other Global plants / Locations
- Support and Co-ordinate for New cost enquiries
- Support for processing and execution of SICR (Supplier Initiated Change Request)
- Support and drive for implementation of Digital tools and initiatives
- Fulfilling compliance requirements as needed by the role
Skills used in this role
What the employer is looking for
- B. E./B.Tech. in Mechanical or Automobile or Industrial / Production Engineering
- Candidates with master's is desired
- Candidates with 3~5 years experience in Purchasing - Project management role with global work experience
- Knolwledge on German Language is preferred
