About the role
The role is a process owner position within Bosch's manufacturing operations in Bengaluru, covering PCBA milling, plasma and ADC laser cleaning processes for electronics production. It owns production readiness for NPI and ECR, machine down-time resolution, and process and customer audit coordination. The role also drives process improvement, PFMEA/CP/FPY improvements, benchmarking, localization and new process development in coordination with development and lead plant teams.
What you will do
- Prepare, validate and document production readiness for NPI & ECR
- Design Approval, Line build co-ordination, pre-acceptance, Installation & line release.
- 2nd level Machine down time solving & guiding.
- Internal & Customer defects problem solving by using 7QC tools and PDCA approach.
- Process improvement. (Utilization, POKAYOKE, CIP projects)
- Process,Customer Audits co-ordination, Capability & Calibration activity.
- PFMEA, CP & FPY improvements.
- New process development, standard template & Knowledge sharing (internal & External)
- Bench mark, Localization, tool life improvement.
- CT reduction and Validation with DOE.
- Coordination with development and lead plant for process and new products.
Skills used in this role
What the employer is looking for
- Good knowledge in PCBA Milling process and Tooling's /Fixtures
- Good knowledge in ADC Laser cleaning process and PCBA cleaning
- BE in Mechanical or Mechatronics engineering / Diploma in Mechanical / Tool & Die Engineering
- Problem Solving Methodology with deep dive root cause analysis, DOE,PDCA, FMEA, Process Capability
- Ability to create and develop Dashboards (Tablue /Power BI) to analyze failure wrt his/her process. As a specialist he/she has applied his knowledge successfully and independently. Has knowledge how to coach others.
- Willingness to learn, can grasp new aspects fast, independent and initiative. Is able to give and receive qualified feedback. Has potential to develop towards Netwroking Skills
