About the role
The role sits within Bosch's RBAI (Robert Bosch Automotive Electronics India) electronics manufacturing operations in Bengaluru, covering PCBA dispensing and cleaning processes for automotive electronics production. The team owns process development, new product introduction readiness, audits, and continuous improvement across dispensing (conformal coating, glue dot, TIM printing), PCBA cleaning, tooling and fixtures. This process owner drives line builds, machine downtime resolution, PFMEA/control plan/FPY improvements, cycle time reduction using DOE, and process audits and calibration activities.
What you will do
- Prepare, validate and document production readiness for NPI & ECR
- Design Approval, Line build co-ordination, pre-acceptance, Installation & line release.
- 2nd level Machine down time solving & guiding.
- Internal & Customer defects problem solving by using 7QC tools and PDCA approach.
- Process improvement. (Utilization, POKAYOKE, CIP projects)
- Process,Customer Audits co-ordination, Capability & Calibration activity.
- PFMEA, CP & FPY improvements.
- New process development, standard template & Knowledge sharing (internal & External)
- Bench mark, Localization, tool life improvement.
- CT reduction and Validation with DOE.
- Coordination with development and lead plant for process and new products.
Skills used in this role
What the employer is looking for
- Good knowledge in Dispensing process ( Conformal coating ,Glue dot & TIM printing) ,PCBA cleaning process and Tooling's /Fixtures
- BE in Mechanical or Mechatronics engineering / Diploma in Mechanical / Tool & Die Engineering
- Problem Solving Methodology with deep dive root cause analysis, DOE,PDCA, FMEA, Process Capability,
- Ability to create and develop Dashboards (Tablue /Power BI) to analyze failure wrt his/her process.
- As a specialist he/she has applied his knowledge successfully and independently. Has knowledge how to coach others.
- Willingness to learn, can grasp new aspects fast, independent and initiative. Is able to give and receive qualified feedback. Has potential to develop towards Netwroking Skills
