About the role
This Bosch manufacturing role covers mechanical process ownership for screwing, laser welding and final assembly lines, including tooling and fixtures. The position supports production readiness for new product introduction and engineering change requests, line builds and machine downtime resolution. The engineer drives process improvement, PFMEA/control plan and FPY improvements, audits, and cycle-time reduction validated with DOE in coordination with development and the lead plant.
What you will do
- Good knowledge in Mechanical Process (Screwing ,Laser Welding,Final Assy)s and Tooling's /Fixtures
- Prepare, validate and document production readiness for NPI & ECR
- Design Approval, Line build co-ordination, pre-acceptance, Installation & line release.
- 2nd level Machine down time solving & guiding.
- Internal & Customer defects problem solving by using 7QC tools and PDCA approach.
- Process improvement. (Utilization, POKAYOKE, CIP projects)
- Process,Customer Audits co-ordination, Capability & Calibration activity.
- PFMEA, CP & FPY improvements.
- New process development, standard template & Knowledge sharing (internal & External)
- Bench mark, Localization, tool life improvement.
- CT reduction and Validation with DOE.
- Coordination with development and lead plant for process and new products.
