About the role
This is an SMT (surface-mount technology) production team leader role within Bosch's manufacturing operations in Bengaluru. The role owns hourly output targets, daily production loss analysis, manpower deployment and standards adherence on the assigned lines. It also drives line KPIs including schedule adherence, associate training and skill levels (TQS), 5S and process confirmation.
What you will do
- Hourly target setting for operators and compliance check through process confirmation.
- Analysis of production losses(Daily Basis) and Systematic solutions to Production issues
- Regular Communication to operators on Safety, quality & production
- Deployment of skilled manpower to lines
- Ensure operators working according to standards (Work instruction, Handling instruction etc.)
- Eliminate production related failures through systematic problem solving methods
- Maintain & improve 5S in responsible area
- Conduct regular audits (LPA/LPC)
- On job training for new associates
- Adherence to standards (Point CIP)
- Schedule adherence plan vs actual for respective lines
- Achieving KPI Targets defined for respective lines
- Associate training & Skill Level ( TQS)
- 5s and Production Handling
- Team motivation& Suggestions
- Process confirmation
- Adhering to prodcution standards as per BPS
- Working according to standatd ( LTT)
