About the role
ETAS, Bosch's software and engineering services organization, provides cybersecurity expert consulting, services, training, and penetration testing projects with a focus on automotive and embedded systems security. The team embeds cybersecurity across the entire product lifecycle, from concept through post-production operations, and works against regulatory frameworks such as ISO/SAE 21434, UN R155, CRA, NIS2, and IEC 62443. This role combines Project Security Manager and Security Architect duties, leading customer projects, defining security plans and deliverables, coordinating cross-functional engineering activities, and driving account growth and project acquisition.
What you will do
- Act as the primary cybersecurity lead for customer projects.
- Own cybersecurity planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
- Define and maintain cybersecurity plans, schedules, work products, and project deliverables.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary cybersecurity activities involving system, software, hardware, testing, cloud, and operations teams.
- Lead customer discussions, audits, assessments, and cybersecurity reviews.
- Ensure project compliance with contractual, regulatory, and organizational cybersecurity requirements.
- Serve as the trusted cybersecurity advisor to customers, engineering teams, suppliers, and management.
- Mentor engineers and project teams on cybersecurity best practices.
- Conduct cybersecurity awareness and technical training sessions.
- Influence security strategy across programs and product portfolios.
- Responsible for account growth & delivering the projects within KPIs.
- Support project acquisition & targets for the services engagement.
Skills used in this role
What the employer is looking for
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, Electronics, Telecommunications, Embedded Systems, or related field.
- 8-12 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, security architecture, or secure product development.
- Minimum 3 years leading cybersecurity activities in complex engineering programs.
- Experience working directly with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional engineering teams.
