About the role

The Cybersecurity Solution Architect is the technical face of BGSW's cybersecurity practice in the pursuit cycle, partnering with sales and business development to understand client security challenges and shape winning solutions. The practice covers OT/ICS, product, application, cloud and AI security offerings across India, UK, EU, Nordics, Middle East and North America. This role owns solution design and technical responses for RFPs, RFIs and proactive proposals, translates the cybersecurity portfolio into compelling proposals, and maps solutions to regulatory frameworks such as IEC 62443 and EU CRA.

What you will do

  • Lead solution design and technical responses for RFPs, RFIs and proactive proposals across OT/ICS security, product security, AI security and penetration testing (PTEST).
  • Conduct discovery workshops with client CISOs, security and engineering teams to capture requirements, pain points and compliance drivers.
  • Architect end-to-end solutions covering assessments, managed services, secure product development and subscription-based commercial models; define scope, effort, staffing and delivery approach.
  • Deliver client presentations, demos and proof-of-concepts; anchor technical due-diligence and clarification rounds.
  • Map solutions to regulatory and standards frameworks such as IEC 62443, CERT-In, NCSC CAF, EU CRA, EU AI Act, FDA / EU MDR and IEC 81001-5-1.
  • Collaborate with delivery partner and product teams (including AI security and OT IDS partners) to build reusable offerings, accelerators and reference architectures.
  • Support pricing and commercial construct decisions with effort estimates, risk assessment and assumptions.
  • Contribute to GTM collateral, thought leadership and analyst / partner engagements.

What the employer is looking for

  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, GICSP, ISA/IEC 62443, OSCP, CEH or CCSP.
  • Exposure to automotive, manufacturing, energy & utilities, or healthcare / MedTech sectors.
  • 5+ years in cybersecurity, with at least 2 years in presales, solution architecture or consulting roles.
  • Strong understanding of two or more domains: OT/ICS & IIoT security, product / embedded security, application security, cloud security, or AI/ML security.
  • Hands-on familiarity with security assessments, penetration testing methodologies, threat modelling and secure SDLC.
  • Working knowledge of relevant standards and regulations (IEC 62443, ISO 27001, NIST CSF, CERT-In guidelines, EU CRA / NIS2, MedTech cybersecurity guidance).
  • Proven ability to write high-quality proposals and present to CxO and technical audiences.
  • Experience engaging clients across multiple geographies; comfortable with travel and cross-time-zone collaboration.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and commercial acumen.
  • Working knowledge of relevant standards and regulations (IEC 62443, ISO 27001, NIST CSF, CERT-In guidelines, EU CRA / NIS2, MedTech cybersecurity guidance)
