About the role
JPMorganChase's Fund Services operations team supports fund accounting and administration, working closely with operations, financial controllers, and external partners. The role applies fund servicing principles to client onboarding, fund event transitions, restructures, and record migrations, along with reconciliations, tax impact analysis, and MIS reporting. It also drives process improvement, standardization, and controls/quality initiatives across the operating platform.
What you will do
- Lead end-to-end new client onboarding and fund event transitions, including accounting transitions and associated data setup.
- Manage incremental transitions, restructures, and record migrations for existing clients, ensuring adherence to project plans and client instructions.
- Upload, process, and validate transition components within fund accounting / onboarding systems, ensuring completeness and timeliness.
- Perform position, cash, GAV and account reconciliations to source data / incumbent custodian records across both accounting and tax records.
- Conduct tax impact analysis for onboarding, restructures, and transition events; support resolution of tax and accounting exceptions.
- Own query management and escalation handling, partnering with internal stakeholders and service partners to drive timely issue resolution.
- Maintain a strong controls and quality framework—perform test checks, support audits, and ensure accurate, reliable fund records.
- Drive process improvement and standardization initiatives (automation, workflow optimization, hand-offs), aligned to Efficiency, Controls, Audit and BCP priorities.
- Produce and present MIS / performance reporting to senior management; maintain SOPs and ensure training/knowledge transfer to sustain team capability.

- Proven experience in client onboarding / transitions / migrations including managing dependencies, checklists, control points, and stakeholder coordination.
- Strong risk & controls mindset with experience documenting procedures (SOPs), performing quality checks, and supporting audit/control reviews.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a deadline-driven environment, handling multiple priorities with high attention to detail.
- Strong client service orientation with effective communication and stakeholder management skills (internal teams, partner locations, and service partners).
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint; solid working knowledge of broader MS Office tools.
- Extensive knowledge of Alteryx and Tableau (building workflows, dashboards, and operational MI).
- Flexibility to support shift timings as required.
