About the role
Mahindra Group's commercial vehicle business works on body-building ecosystem and fully built solutions for its Truck & Bus portfolio. The South Zone Manager will drive volume growth for MTBD products, develop FBV applications, and coordinate with vendors, product managers, and sales teams. The role also covers techno-commercial support, vendor tie-ups, certification, pricing, and timely delivery of fully built vehicles.
What you will do
- Driving Volume growth/achievement by facilitating and supporting body building ecosystem for MTBD products (expect buses) at Focus Dealers for Top Applications
- Support to PMG HO product managers on PMG tasks and to sales team on special applications by collaborating with PMG HO team and Body Builders
- FBV application development and launch as per regional market demand.
- Techno-commercial support on application / superstructure for complete Truck & Bus portfolio by coordinating with vendors for Zonal team (Retail)
- Build strategic tie ups with vendors for body building requirements across the CV segment at PAN India Level.
- Analyzing and Identifying applications and market segments for fully built solutions where our vehicles will be suited.
- Exploring entry into new segments / applications through innovative methods of body building.
- Liaising with PD Team to make modifications in Design aimed at developing various fully built applications on our vehicles.
- Ensuring timely Built & Delivery for all the projects / vehicles adhering to decided cost and required quality.
- Ensuring that the Body Building operations are in line with customer requirement and Government norms.
- Ensuring Certification by relevant authorities for the fully built vehicles through vendors.
- Tie ups with vendors with diverse expertise in alignment with customer requirements & Mahindra's strengths and norms.
- Ensuring competitive pricing in tie ups with vendors.
