About the role
IHCL is a hospitality company with brands including Taj, Vivanta, and Ginger, operating over 380 hotels across 14 countries. The Food and Beverage Service Apprentice is a full-time, on-site role in Tirupati supporting restaurant and banquet operations. The apprentice will welcome guests, take orders, serve food and beverages, assist with buffet setups, coordinate with kitchen teams, and learn IHCL service protocols under senior team members.
What you will do
- The apprentice will support day-to-day restaurant and banquet operations, including welcoming guests, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring tables and service stations are properly set and maintained.
- Responsibilities include assisting with buffet setups, coordinating with kitchen teams for timely service, and adhering to hygiene, safety, and quality standards.
- The role involves learning IHCL service protocols, handling guest queries and feedback with courtesy, and maintaining accurate billing and payment processes.
- The apprentice will work under the guidance of senior team members to develop professional skills in food and beverage service and contribute to a refined and memorable guest experience.

- A high school diploma or equivalent, along with a hospitality or hotel management course or internship, is preferred.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, and maintain a professional appearance and demeanor is required.
