About the role
Toshiba Software (India) Pvt. Ltd. is hiring a Motor Control Firmware Developer in Bengaluru. The role covers firmware development for motor controllers (BLDC/PMSM/induction motors/inverters) along with power electronics hardware debugging, Embedded C programming, and FOC and 6-step commutation control methods. Work spans LV and HV applications in home appliances and automotive using ARM Cortex-M/A based microcontrollers.

Skills used in this role
What the employer is looking for
- Experience in Motor Controller Firmware development (BLDC/PMSM/Induction Motors/Inverters)
- Exposure to Power Electronics hardware development and debugging using Oscilloscope/Current probes
- Embedded C
- Knowledge of FOC, 6-step commutation control methods
- Stepper motor control
- Experience in motor control parameter tuning and Algorithms for same.
- Experience in Matlab/Simulink modelling for power electronics based applications
- Experience in LV, HV applications in home appliances, automotive etc
- Hands on experience working on ARM Cortex-M/A based microcontrollers
