About the role
The role supports American Express finance technology work centered on Oracle EPM, analyzing existing business processes residing on Oracle Hyperion and translating them into functional specifications. The team partners with business units, IT teams, and external vendors to migrate and support financial consolidation and reporting processes using Oracle FCCS. This Product Analyst position configures and supports the Oracle FCCS module while working within Agile and Scrum delivery practices.
What you will do
- Gather and document detailed business requirements and functional specifications.
- Collaborate with product lead, finance process teams and technical teams to configure & design solutions that meet business needs
- Apply industry best practices in EPM financial design and configuration for scalable and auditable solutions
- Configure and support Oracle FCCS module
- Participate in developing user stories, sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups to ensure effective scrum execution.
- Support change management, training, and testing activities across user groups
Skills used in this role
What the employer is looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Information System, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a Business/Finance or Product Analyst, in Oracle EPM context
- Familiarity with Oracle FCCS/HFM application services and understanding of business processes.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Exposure to Agile development methodology
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Preferred qualifications
- Certified SAFe Agilist or similar Agile certifications
- Oracle FCCS/HFM certifications
- Understanding of Oracle FCCS/HFM financial processes, configuration, and solution design
