About the role
NetApp provides enterprise-grade data storage and data infrastructure across Google Cloud, AWS, and Microsoft Azure, supporting traditional workloads and enterprise AI. The Financial Analyst role compiles and analyzes financial information and supports senior management decisions through financial and business analysis. The role covers operational and financial metrics, forecasting and budgeting for Opex, headcount, bookings, and margin, revenue forecasting, month-end close, variance analysis, and standard/ad hoc reporting.
What you will do
- Prepare and drive operational and financial metrics in support of key decision making.
- Participate in projects related to financial systems or business processes.
- Gather, analyze, prepare and summarize recommendations for financial plans, acquisition activity, trended future requirements and operating forecasts.
- Work with cross-functional groups to provide technical support to business units including:Forecasting and budgeting of Opex, Headcount, Bookings and Margin M anaging Revenue Forecast & Revenue reserves. Month end Close & Variance analysis Standard and ad hoc reporting
Skills used in this role
What the employer is looking for
- Ideally 3-6years working experience.
- A University degree in Finance is required as well as potential to grow into a more senior controlling role
- CA qualification Preferred.
