About the role

The Balance Sheet Assurance (BSA) team within Global Financial Operations, Controllership, manages the foundational accounting for Cardmember spend, remittances, and merchant payments, which is core to the credit card domain, and liaises with broader controllership, technology/product, and servicing teams to embed financial integrity in the end-to-end process. This Band 28 role manages research and clearance-based accounting and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts for merchant payment processes, including spend and non-spend merchant transactions. The role also performs month-on-month trend analysis to identify general ledger anomalies, prepares journals, conducts metrics analysis, manages stakeholder queries, and supports ongoing and upcoming business and technology initiatives.

What the employer is looking for

  • B.com/PG with 3+ years of experience of work experience
  • US GAAP knowledge and Audit experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI and other data applications like Cornerstone, TM1 will be preferred.
