About the role

Chargebee is a leading provider of billing and monetization solutions, empowering businesses with recurring revenue models to streamline revenue and finance operations, capture actionable insights, and drive growth. The company is trusted by businesses of all sizes, including Zapier, LegalZoom, Lambda, Freshworks, DeepL, Condé Nast, and Pret a Manger, and is consistently recognized by customers as a Leader in Subscription Management on G2. The team is hiring an ABM Manager to own account-based marketing for its global startup segment — a high-velocity, intent-driven motion focused on account selection, activation, sales enablement, and outbound cadence execution for the startup sales team.

What you will do

  • Account Selection & Activation
  • Continuously analyze intent and engagement signals to spot which accounts are entering active buying windows.
  • Turn data signals into clear, weekly prioritized account lists, with context on why each account matters right now.
  • Ensure sales has full, unambiguous account coverage every single week.
  • Sales Enablement
  • Equip AEs and BDRs with sharp account intelligence, not static lead lists.
  • Build a tight feedback loop with sales to keep refining targeting and improving conversion.
  • Be the connective tissue between data signals and outbound execution.
  • Outbound AI-Agent campaign Ownership
  • Build, test, and optimize outbound cadences tailored to startup buyers.
  • Tie outreach triggers directly to intent and engagement signals.
  • Drive strong cadence adoption across the sales team.
  • Continuously test messaging, sequencing, and calls-to-action to improve replies and conversion.
  • Campaign Adaptation
  • Design startup-specific campaigns from the ground up, not just adaptations of global programs.
  • Take upmarket integrated campaigns and adapt them into startup-ready versions: simpler messaging, shorter cycles, less friction.
  • Design 1:few activations for your top 100 accounts to drive higher pipeline conversion.
  • Focus on scalable, cost-efficient tactics like intent-driven email and digital engagement.
  • Get the most startup-sales mileage out of existing global marketing investments.
  • Decide which tradeshows are worth your local sales reps' time to help convert top accounts.
  • Partner with the advertising team on the messaging and content that best fits your campaigns. You're their internal customer, driving toward your own pipeline goals.
  • You'll own the dashboards and reporting behind all of the above, keeping the full funnel visible from marketing-qualified account through to pipeline.
  • Meaningful, measurable pipeline contribution sourced and influenced through the startup motion.
  • Strong conversion from marketing-qualified account to meeting, and from meeting to opportunity.
  • Fast intent-to-outreach turnaround.
  • High outbound cadence adoption across the sales team.
  • Clean, reliable CRM data.
  • A healthy pipeline-to-spend ratio that proves out the efficiency of the motion.

What the employer is looking for

  • Proven experience in ABM, demand generation, or a closely related go-to-market marketing role, ideally in B2B SaaS.
  • A strong, confident writer who can craft outbound messaging themselves, not just brief it out to someone else.
  • You're comfortable working directly in data, whether that's building a scoring rubric or querying a dataset, and you know how to turn that into action, not just a dashboard.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, especially with sales and marketing operations.
  • A bias for speed, efficiency, and measurable outcomes over polish for its own sake.

Preferred qualifications

  • Tools You'll Use: Salesforce, Marketo, 6sense, Influ2, Clay, Claude, and Figma. Familiarity with these is a plus, not a requirement, if you're comfortable ramping up quickly.

Benefits and support

  • Compensation and benefits are detailed in the job posting
