About the role
The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) is hiring an Executive Housekeeper for Taj Palace, Lucknow, to oversee the hotel's housekeeping function. The role owns the day-to-day operations of the housekeeping department, setting quality standards for comfort, hygiene, cleanliness and hospitality across guest rooms, public spaces and restaurants. It also covers staff hiring and training, cost management, and compliance with safety and hygiene practices.
What you will do
- Responsible for and oversees the day-to-day operations of the housekeeping department.
- Directs and guides the housekeeping department in ensuring high standards of comfort, hygiene, cleanliness and hospitality.
- Defining standards for quality service.
- Responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of the guest rooms, public space and restaurants & all other areas of the hotel.
- Involved in the hiring and training of new staff.
