About the role
The VM ST team at Bosch works on enterprise-grade application development and Python based tool development and maintenance. The role is focused on Python scripting and Generative AI, including designing and implementing scalable features, optimizing existing source code for memory and speed, and applying design patterns and industry best practices. This senior developer will lead design and development, act as an SME, mentor a team of Python developers, and work with customers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams across geographies.
What you will do
- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Python & Gen AI Senior developer to lead the design and development of enterprise-grade applications.
- Tasks Design & develop Python scripting effectively and efficiently.
- Optimizing the existing source code in terms of memory and speed.
- Mentor and groom a team of Python developers.
- Contribute to Python based tool development and maintenance activities as SME.
- Handling tasks and managing customers & stakeholders independently Working closely with cross-functional teams across geographies.
- Effectively communicating the progress & challenges across stake holders

- (M) Extensive programming experience & strong understanding in Python
- (M) Experience in Advanced features of Python.
- (M) Good knowledge in Gen AI concepts
- (M) Sound in Designing and Implementation of Scalable features, Knowledge of Patterns and Industry best practices.
- (M) Experience with version control tools. such as GIT & Bitbucket.
- (M) Experience with Scrum in an Agile Development environment.
- (M) Knowledge in design patterns. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Process oriented and growth mindset.

- 6+ Years
Preferred qualifications
- 6-8 years of relevant programming experience in Python
- Good experience in data structures, Algorithms & STL.
- Good experience in Multithreading / concurrent programming.
- Good experience in Software development from design to release.
- 2-5 years of extensive programming experience & strong understanding in Gen AI concepts.
- Experience in MATLAB is also an added advantage.
- Proven experience in leading and mentoring development teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
