About the role
Qualcomm India's Hardware Engineering Group is hiring an embedded systems engineer and CPU content developer to work on a concurrent CPU validation framework. The work spans CPU core/uncore validation and stress content development, low-level firmware, platform bring-up, validation automation, and complex silicon debug for ARM/AArch64 and RISC-V based silicon. The role requires deep low-level C/C++, assembly, bare-metal and RTOS expertise along with hands-on debug experience using JTAG/Lauterbach Trace32.

- The engineer will contribute to the concurrent CPU validation framework, focusing on CPU core/uncore validation and stress content development, low-level firmware, platform bring-up, validation automation, and complex silicon debug.

What the employer is looking for
- 5 to 13 years of relavant experience (A Must)
- Strong C/C++ programming for embedded/low-level systems
- Assembly programming, preferably ARM/AArch64 or RISC-V
- Bare-Metal and RTOS development/debug
- Good knowledge of ARM/AArch64 and RISC-V architectures
- CPU Stress content development
- Understanding of cache/coherency, MMU/TLB, interrupts, exceptions, system registers, memory ordering, and multicore synchronization
- Understanding of Low-Power Management (LPM) and DVFS
- Experience with CPU/SoC platform bring-up and silicon debug
- Experience with JTAG / Lauterbach Trace32 (T32) or similar debug tools
- Python scripting for validation automation and regression
- Exposure to CI/CD and automated validation environments
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 3+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
- PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 1+ year of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
