About the role

Reliance Jio is undertaking large-scale infrastructure projects powering next-generation digital connectivity, and this role sits within the Facilities / Facility Projects engineering function. The Electrical Manager provides end-to-end electrical engineering support for Jio facilities, covering HT/LT power distribution, transformers, DGs, UPS, PCC/MCC, APFC, earthing and lightning protection. The role focuses on design review and validation, equipment sizing and selection, compliance with IS/NBC and statutory safety requirements, and coordination with engineering, consultants, contractors and vendors through design-to-field execution.

What you will do

  • Act as the technical SPOC for electrical engineering clarifications and site issues.
  • Review electrical designs, SLDs, load calculations, BOQs and technical specifications.
  • Review HT/LT power distribution systems, transformers, DGs, UPS, PCC/MCC and APFC.
  • Review earthing and lightning protection systems.
  • Validate electrical equipment sizing, selection and system configuration.
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Construction, consultants, vendors and contractors.
  • Drive design-to-field implementation and resolve site-level technical constraints.
  • Review electrical installation and commissioning methodologies.
  • Ensure compliance with IS standards, NBC, electrical safety and statutory requirements.
  • Drive timely closure of TQs, RFIs, design clarifications and engineering changes.
  • Minimize electrical-related rework, defects and project execution delays.
  • Reviewed and validated electrical designs, SLDs, load calculations, BOQs and equipment specifications.
  • Engineering validation of HT/LT distribution, transformers, DG, UPS, PCC/MCC, APFC, earthing and lightning protection systems.
  • Technical recommendations for equipment sizing, selection and system configuration.
  • Closure of electrical TQs, RFIs, design clarifications and site technical issues.
  • Engineering inputs for electrical installation and commissioning methodology.
  • Compliance review against IS, NBC, electrical safety and statutory requirements.
