About the role
The role sits within Bosch's PS-EC (Powertrain Solutions – Electronic Controls) product area, which develops powertrain electronics covering hardware, software, calibration and services. The team owns the associated development from start of development through to quality gate closure and several months after start of production. This project manager position is technically and economically responsible for the PS-EC product/project, owning project objectives on time, spec, budget and profit, acting as customer interface, and steering sub-projects and the assigned project team.
What you will do
- Overall technically and economically responsible for the PS-EC product/project (sub-projects HW, SW, CAL and services within scope of sold business case (soldproduct)) and the associated development, from SOD to QGC5 or 6 months after SOP
- Responsible for achieving the project objectives and goals “on time”, “on spec/quality”, “on budget”, “on profit” (OVC/CSS)# as contracted in project charter.
- Maintain and increase customer satisfaction by appropriate customer communication regarding project deliverables and achievement of customer project goals
- Is the customer interface for PS-EC product & associated development, conducts customer meetings where required in consultation with the Sys-PjM
- Execute Project Charter with sub-projects and direct assigned project team members
- Support in the quotation process if requested
- Elaborate top-level schedule and work breakdown structure (WBS)
