About the role
Bosch's embedded engineering organization in Bangalore develops and tests embedded and thermotechnology (TT) products, working with international teams and stakeholders. The role covers embedded product testing across the SDLC and STLC, including test planning, test specification, manual and automated test execution, and defect root-cause analysis. The engineer will also refine user-level requirements into product-specific requirements and drive improvements in test efficiency and automation using Python and the Robot framework.
What you will do
- Create test plan, test specification and perform test execution (manual & automated)
- Debug and identify the root cause and give an indication on a suitable solution
- Interact with different stakeholders to derive solutions
- Requirement elicitation – refine user level requirements to product specific requirements.
- Identifying opportunities for improving test efficiency and automation
Skills used in this role
What the employer is looking for
- Academic degree in Electronic Engineering or similar
- B.E/B.Tech in Electronic Engineering or similar
- Good testing knowledge and exposure to all stages of SDLC & STLC, good experience in Product Quality testing
- Good communication skills, problem solving skills and proactiveness
- Good team player, high learning motivation, quick in comprehension
- Experience in usage of JIRA
- ISTQB Advanced level certification
- Working knowledge on different TT Products or Embedded Products
- Hands on experience with Python programming language
- Working knowledge on Robot framework
- Exposure in working with international team
Preferred qualifications
- Experience in HVAC technology
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
