About the role
The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) is hiring a Director of Human Resources for its upcoming Taj Exotica Resort & Spa in Bengaluru. The role coordinates with corporate and unit HR teams on HR processes, workforce planning, recruitment, training, performance management, payroll, and statutory compliance. It also focuses on employee morale, welfare activities, community development, and implementation of the Tata Code of Conduct and leadership values.
What you will do
- Co-ordinates with HR Team on the HR processes as laid down by the Corporate and the Unit
- Create a work environment that is high in employee morale and provides constant learning & development and use the feedback from ESS to draw an action plan.
- Develop systems and procedures that achieve higher cost efficiency and employee satisfaction.
- Recruitment and Performance Appraisal/ Management of the staff in the Unit
- Develop & Implement the annual plan using the TBEM framework, linking the department's objectives to the unit's overall strategy.
- Monitoring in house training.
- Implement and sustain Tata Code of Conduct and value systems of both IHCL & Tata's.
- Abiding by the Leadership Code defined by the organisation and ensure its adherence in the hotel.
