About the role

This role sits within Okta's People Experience & AI transformation function and serves as the strategic technical and functional capability lead for Okta's Recruiting and Learning ecosystem. The work spans enterprise systems, integrations, automation, data architecture, and AI across ATS, CRM, LMS and AI tools. The Digital Solutions Manager will define and execute the technology vision and roadmap for recruiting and learning platforms, enabling scalable hiring, workforce development, and global organizational growth.

What you will do

  • Roadmap & Systems: Define & execute the roadmap for Recruiting and Learning systems, ensuring alignment with business goals. Serve as the primary SME across ATS, CRM, LMS and AI tools. Design scalable, future-ready architectures, evaluate emerging technologies, and translate complex business needs into strategic technical solutions through partnership with People Technology and Business leaders.
  • Integrations, Automation & Optimization: Partner with Technology teams to define requirements for integrations across systems using APIs, middleware, and data pipelines. Drive automation of manual processes across recruiting and learning workflows to improve efficiency and reduce operational overhead. Lead the business side of system implementations—including requirements gathering, process mapping, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and change management/readiness—while partnering with the technology team for solution design, configuration, and deployment. Continuously identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve system performance.
  • Data Integrity, Reporting & Insights: Establish and maintain data integrity standards, validation rules, and monitoring processes. Ensure data accuracy, accessibility, and consistency across systems. Partner with analytics teams to align on reporting frameworks and enable actionable insights.
  • AI Enablement & Innovation: Leverage AI-enabled capabilities (e.g., candidate matching, chatbots, recommendations, content generation) to optimize recruiting and learning processes. Evaluate and implement AI-driven tools and features across systems. Identify high-impact use cases for AI to improve efficiency, personalization, and decision-making. Partner with stakeholders to drive responsible and scalable adoption of AI solutions.
  • Troubleshooting, Governance & Best Practices: Troubleshoot complex system issues and perform root cause analysis using structured problem-solving approaches. Partner with IT and Security to ensure system reliability, compliance, and scalability. Establish and document best practices for system configuration, usage, and maintenance. Maintain comprehensive technical documentation (system architecture, data flows, configurations).
  • Leadership & Cross-Functional Impact: Act as a technical subject matter expert for recruiting and learning systems within People. Partner with Recruiting and Learning & Development teams to translate business needs into technical solutions. Collaborate with Business Technology / IT on integrations, architecture, and system performance. Engage with vendors and external partners to support implementations and roadmap alignment. Support global users through issue resolution, training, and documentation to drive adoption and effectiveness.
