About the role
Qualcomm India Private Limited's Hardware Engineering Group works on semiconductor hardware engineering. This role focuses on design implementation synthesis, including Synopsys and Cadence synthesis tools, multi-voltage power-aware synthesis, UPF flows, low-power designs, formal verification, and timing constraints. The engineer will also use Perl/TCL scripting and makefile flows and may contribute to integration or RTL design.

Skills used in this role
What the employer is looking for
- 4+ Year of industry experiences in the following areas: Expertise in Synthesis - Synopsys Design Compiler, DCG/DC_NXT/Fusion Compiler and/or Cadence RC/Genus.
- Expertise on with multi-voltage, power aware synthesis, UPF flows in synthesis and low power designs.
- Expertise in formal verification with Cadence LEC/ Synopsys Formality
- Expertise in writing and debugging timing constraints
- Perl and/or TCL scripting, makefile flows.
- Masters in Electronics or Electrical Engineeringwork on integration or RTL design is considered plus.Candidates should have excellent analytical and problem-solving skillsTrack record of driving ideas from design through commercialization
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 3+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
- PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 1+ year of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
