About the role
The Physical IP Division in Arm creates Memory IPs used by thousands of SoC designers worldwide, developing memory fast cache instances on advanced technologies such as 14A and 2nm from leading foundries, with SRAM solutions optimized for high speed, low power and high density across server, mobile and IoT applications. This role covers design, margining, characterization, verification and release of memory instances, spanning single/dual port SRAM and register files and views such as Verilog, liberty, schematics, LEF and GDS. The engineer will work with EDA tools used in the development and verification flow and gain exposure to automation techniques.
What you will do
- Candidate will be responsible for working on design , margining , characterization, verification and release of Memory instances .
- This activity will give candidate exposure to different types of memories like Single port/dual port SRAM/Register File; different types of views like Verilog, liberty, schematics, lef and gds; different EDA tools used for the development and verification flow.
- It will also give candidate opportunity to learn automation techniques which is one of the essential skills in the industry today.
Skills used in this role
What the employer is looking for
- Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Electronics Engineering with excellent academic credentials
- 2-5 years experience in Memory design or characterization.
- Very good understanding of SRAM, digital circuits fundamentals and SOC concepts
- Good understanding of device physics
- Understanding of computer architecture (optional)
- Working knowledge of scripting (Shell, TCL) and AI usage
- Hard-working and self-motivated
- Quick learner, good problem solving and debugging skills
- Willingness to be flexible and accept new challenges
- Capable of working as a great teammate or independently
- Good analytical and reasoning skills
- Good interpersonal skills
