About the role
Lauritz Knudsen Electrical and Automation, a unit of Schneider Electric India Pvt. Ltd., is an electrical and automation brand with over 70 years in India, offering low-voltage switchgear, medium-voltage switchgear, automation solutions, software and services for homes, agriculture, buildings, infrastructure and industry. The Deputy Manager - Production role is based at the Ahmednagar plant and is responsible for achieving production targets as per schedules, improving line quality through root cause analysis and corrective actions, driving cost savings through digitalization, automation, value engineering and material/labour productivity, and delivering continuous improvement via Lean/VSM/Pokayoke/PFMEA, TPM, safety and 5S initiatives on the shop floor.
What you will do
- Achieve Annual/Monthly/Daily Production targets as per schedules.
- Improve quality level for production lines with root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Cost Saving through digitalization, automation, value engg, material productivity, labour productivity
- Complete customer orders within 7 days.
- Continuous improvement through Lean/VSM/Pokayoke/PFMEA projects
- TPM Initiatives on shop floor.
- Safety Improvements.
- 5S Sustenance on shop.
- Improve labour productivity in shop.
