About the role

Lauritz Knudsen Electrical and Automation, a unit of Schneider Electric India, is an electrical and automation brand offering low-voltage and medium-voltage switchgear, automation solutions, software, and services across homes, agriculture, buildings, infrastructure, and industry. The Deputy Manager - Production will lead shop-floor production at the Ahmednagar location, focusing on annual/monthly/daily production targets, quality improvement, cost savings, and continuous improvement through Lean, TPM, and 5S. The role requires shop-floor experience and SAP/Word/Excel/PowerPoint knowledge.

What you will do

  • Achieve Annual/Monthly/Daily Production targets as per schedules.
  • Improve quality level for production lines with root cause analysis and corrective actions
  • Cost Saving through digitalization, automation, value engg, material productivity, labour productivity
  • Complete customer orders within 7 days.
  • Continuous improvement through Lean/VSM/Pokayoke/PFMEA projects
  • TPM Initiatives on shop floor.
  • Safety Improvements.
  • 5S Sustenance on shop.
  • Improve labour productivity in shop.
