About the role
Mahindra Group is hiring for procurement at Nashik Plant I, covering material procurement and planning for casting and forging parts across vehicle and aggregate programs including Engine, TM, Axle, and Foundry. The role uses IT tools such as DBM, LTP, and MRP to support supplier capacity planning, inventory management, change management, and packaging/logistics cost savings. It coordinates with suppliers and internal teams to meet material requirements and escalate capacity gaps.
What you will do
- Material Procurement and Planning for Casting and Forging parts required in Vehicle and Aggregates, Engine, TM, Axle , Foundry.
- Use of IT tools -DBM /LTP/MRP.
- Supplier Capacity Planning wrt material requirement and timely escalations in case of gaps.
- Inventory Management.
- Change management - EN process.
- Cost Savings - Packaging / Material / Logistics.
- Coordination of Packaging Cost / Logistics Savings for the Department
