About the role
Lauritz Knudsen Electrical and Automation, a unit of Schneider Electric India Pvt. Ltd., is a 70-year-old Indian electrical and automation brand offering low-voltage and medium-voltage switchgear, automation solutions, software and services for homes, agriculture, buildings, infrastructure and industry. This Deputy Manager – Maintenance position is based at the Ahmednagar factory and covers maintenance planning and scheduling, preventive, breakdown, condition-based and time-based maintenance, MTTR/MTBF improvement, root cause analysis, spare parts inventory and TPM documentation. The role also requires hands-on work with Siemens PLC programming, VFDs and servo systems while ensuring safety, quality and maintenance standards compliance.
What you will do
- Maintenance Planning & Execution.
- Develop and implement an effective Maintenance Planning and Scheduling System.
- Ensure efficient execution of Preventive Maintenance (PM), Breakdown Maintenance, Condition-Based Maintenance (CBM), and Time-Based Maintenance (TBM).
- Monitor, track, and improve MTTR (Mean Time to Repair) and MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures).
- Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Manage spare parts inventory and ensure optimum stock levels.
- Maintain and update all TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) documentation and records.
- Hands-on experience with Siemens PLC programming, troubleshooting, and fault diagnosis.
- Hands-on experience with Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and Servo Systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and maintenance standards.
- Willingness to work in rotating shifts.
