About the role
The role sits within Honeywell's business reporting and analytics function, responsible for preparing and publishing business reports and analyzing data from various systems to identify opportunities for business growth. The work centers on Power BI dashboard design, SQL table creation and optimization, and other reporting tools such as SharePoint, PowerApps and MS Excel. The analyst engages with business leaders to understand their reporting needs and deliver value against team goals.
What you will do
- Connect PowerBI with Various data sources like SQL, Azure Datalike, Snowflake, Excel, etc.
- Prepare and publish various business reports as per agreed SLA on daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.
- Analyze the data and using standard guidelines, prepare list of possible opportunities for business growth.
- Understand the data set and ensure appropriate tables are created in SQL
- Write queries in SQL to create calculated fields.
- Monitor SQL Table update failure and fix the root causes
- Understand Sharepoint lists / workflows / Powerapps.
- Conversant in MS Excel – pivots, formulaes etc.

- Graduate with Engineering Background preferably
- 3+ years of PowerBI experience in Product industry
- SQL and Power BI knowledge is must
- Proficient with PowerBI
- Proficient with SQL queries and view creations.
- Medium proficient in MS Excel
- Ability to multi-task and remain calm under pressure
