About the role
The Enterprise Technology Services organization partners with every part of the American Express business to power growth and innovation with trust and efficiency, supporting the delivery and operations of technology, digital, and data capabilities, platforms, and services globally. The team is responsible for the company's technology engineering, architecture, and infrastructure with 24x7 support, and also leads technology risk and information security, enterprise data governance and platforms, digital product and design, and enterprise AI platforms. This role focuses on designing and executing test automation frameworks for web applications, APIs, and performance testing, including building automated scripts and integrating suites into CI/CD pipelines.
What you will do
- Design, develop, and execute test automation frameworks for web applications, APIs, and performance testing.
- Perform functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, and release validation.
- Develop automated test scripts using Java, Selenium WebDriver (v3/v4), TestNG, and Cucumber (BDD).
- Conduct API testing and automation using Rest Assured and Postman.
- Implement performance and load testing using tools such as Gatling/Karate.
- Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions). Must be proficient in writing GitHub Actions ymls file and customize per need hence able to construct job and pipelines
