About the role
Microsoft Customer & Partner Solutions unites product, engineering, marketing, sales, customer success, and partners around a common customer mission to accelerate customer outcomes, cloud adoption, and AI transformation. As a Customer Success Account Manager (CSAM), you act as the primary customer success leader, orchestrating outcomes across Microsoft and partner teams and leading Customer Success Planning with customers. The role connects customer goals to Microsoft capabilities, Success Programs, and Success Management Services while managing customer risks, governance, and delivery rhythms to drive measurable value realization.
What you will do
- Build trusted advisor relationships with customer stakeholders and Microsoft teams, helping align technology investments to strategic business priorities and outcomes.
- Lead stakeholder and priority alignment efforts across customer organizations, establishing shared objectives, success measures, and governance approaches.
- Own Customer Success Planning and execution, translating business priorities into coordinated success motions that drive measurable customer value.
- Orchestrate cross-functional execution that strengthens customer health, accelerates cloud adoption, and advances AI transformation across customer environments.
- Leverage Success Management Services, Success Programs, and broader Microsoft resources to drive scaled execution, value realization, and customer success outcomes.
- Proactively manage customer risks, adoption challenges, and delivery dependencies, guiding stakeholders toward resolution and long-term success.
- Serve as a customer advocate and customer success leader, continuously improving execution effectiveness and helping customers realize durable business value from Microsoft investments.

- OR equivalent experience

- OR Master's Degree in Business, Sociology, Psychology, Computer Science, or related field AND 8+ years customer success, solution delivery, practice management, customer-facing consulting, or portfolio management experience
- 8+ years relevant work experience within customer industry
- Microsoft or competitor-equivalent certification, such as AWS certification, in relevant technologies such as Azure or Microsoft 365
- Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundation certification or equivalent service management certification
- Project Management Institute (PMI) or equivalent Project Management certification
- Prosci or equivalent certification
